Cancellation Policy:
If the applicant wishes to cancel the accommodation, the applicant must cancel by email by close of business on or before the 15th January 2021. Cancellations by telephone will not be accepted.
In the event of cancellation by the aforementioned date, a 100 cancellation fee will be deducted from the booking/damage deposit and the remainder refunded. Refunds will be issued by bank transfer only. If the applicant cancels after the cut-off date outlined above, no refund will be issued and the full 300 deposit will be retained.
After check in, any electricity prepayment applied to the pre-paid meter cannot be refunded.
Please note that when a student leaves, management has the right to move another resident into that students vacant room. If this occurs, however the student must still find a replacement for the room which is vacant.
Methods of Payment accepted are:
Payments can only be made by credit/Debit card, most major credit cards accepted. Cash payments not accepted.
Lease Agreement:
A standard Lease Agreement is entered between the student & their Landlord. The tenant is obliged to follow the terms and conditions of the Village Rules, which outline the Rules & Regulations in place for the development and which forms part of the licence. It is a requirement that all students residing at Centrepoint Apartments MUST have a signed Lease. The Lease is available within your student portal and residents will be emailed once it is available to read, print and sign. It must be signed by both Tenant and their Guarantors and sent back by email to info@centrepointgalway.com before you check in. On receipt of the signed lease and rental payment, apartment and room keys will be issued on arrival during arranged opening office hours, which will permit access to the allocated room. Access will not be granted without a fully signed Lease Agreement when checking in.
Wi-Fi access will not be issued until the signed Lease Agreement is returned to the office.
Checking In & Key Collection:
Semester 2 check in will commence from 12pm Monday 1st February 2021. You do not have to check in on this date but you must check in during office opening hours. A key will be issued on arrival which will permit access to the allocated house/room. An email will be issued prior to this date with further details.
