Centrepoint Apartments are located off the Tuam road just 7 minutes drive, 25 minutes walk from to Galway city centre and NUIG. Galway Shopping Centre, Dunnes Stores complex, Terryland and Galway Retail park are all within 15 minutes walk. Centrepoint Apartments are located on the 2nd floor of the Centrepoint Complex (over Elvery Sports shop). Access to the complex is located along the side of the building, accross from West-doc offices.

Driving or Cycling: There is free road side parking and free underground parking in Centrepoint car park. We advise those staying at Centrepoint Apartments to consider cycling to college, just 10 minutes. We have secure bicycle storage in the basement.

Public Transport: There is a city bus stop located on the Tuam road, 2 minutes walk from the apartments. Bus number 3 travels to the city centre with NUIG being just 10 minutes walk. Click on www.buseireann.ie for timetable information.

Private Transport: Each apartment phone is programmed with a free direct dial to Galway Taxis. This reputable taxis compancy are offering a 20% discount card to all students, these cards will be availabe at the desk on check-in. We encourage students to organise travelling in 4's to college to avail of an excellent rate. (approx €8).

 

From Sligo/Mayo: on nearing Galway city at Font Roundabout take the 2nd exit, continue to 2nd set of traffic lights, entering the right hand lane. Turn right at lights, see Centrepoint Apartments in front (over Elvery Sports shop)

 

From Dublin: on nearing Galway city, at 1st roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bothar Na Dtreabh - N6 (signposted Galway)

At Lynch roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bothar Na Dtreabh - N6 (signposted Galway

Continue forward onto the N6 Entering Galway

At Morris Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bothar Na Dtreabh - N6 (signposted Galway City)

At Font Roundabout take the 1st exit, continue to 2nd set of  traffice lights, entering the right hand lane.
